Lamp lighting ceremony and Oath ceremony

On 15.01.2025 oath and lamp lighting ceremony conducted in Shrimati Maya College of Nursing Butibori Nagpur, for GNM 1st year students the tradition of lamp lighting ceremony serves as an icon and inspiration in nursing profession from Florence Nightingale who is known as the founder of modern nursing. The lamp lighting ceremony formally declares the student's entry into the nursing profession. As Chief guest President of Maya Hospital Dr. Sangita Deotale, Director of college Dr. Shyam Deotale, HOD Dr. Madhuri Deotale , Admin Head Mr. Saket Wankar, Principal Mrs. Rujuta Bhoge and all Teachers in their presence students took the oath and lamp lighting ceremony were done.

Aids Awareness Program in Maya Hospital

On 01.12.2024, an AIDS Awareness Program was conducted at Maya Hospital to educate and spread awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and stigma reduction. The program aimed to highlight the importance of early detection, safe practices, and support for those affected by HIV/AIDS. Various informative sessions, free HIV screenings, and counseling services were provided to raise awareness. Educational materials were distributed, and experts addressed key concerns related to HIV/AIDS, encouraging a proactive and compassionate approach to managing the condition.

TB Awareness program at Maya Hospital

On 24.03.2025, a TB Awareness Program was conducted at Maya Hospital by the students of Shrimati Maya College of Nursing to educate and raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB) prevention, symptoms, treatment, and stigma reduction. The program aimed to emphasize the importance of early detection, proper medication adherence, and community support in controlling TB. Students actively participated in informative sessions, interactive discussions, and awareness campaigns to spread knowledge about TB. Educational materials were distributed, and experts addressed key concerns, encouraging a proactive and informed approach to TB prevention and management.
